Leather Medic is a franchise for a business providing repair for leather and vinyl refinishing.
It was founded in 1989 and started franchising in 2003. It was founded by Chade Life who is a surgeon, magician, and an artist. They specialize in repairing leather and vinyl in automobiles, marine crafts, furniture repair, and commercial. It was said that he had to spend 21 years just to be able to refine his craft.
They say that at the time he started, there were only three, including him, in North America who had expertise in refinishing and repairing fine leathers. The other two are now retired. He knew that there was a demand for the business. He developed his process and method. He expanded the All Leather Magic and they have trained technicians for them to have the knowledge and skills to be premiere leather craftsmen. They now have 20 locations in the United States and one location that is still company owned.
What services do they offer at Leather Medic?
In Automotive, some of the damages they repair include faded seats, worn, cracked, and dry leather seats, and dry cracked and worn edges. They do a full interior repair and restore vinyl, leather, cloth, and plastic.
They can also re-dye leather if you request for it. They remove carpet stains and cigarette burns. Miscellaneous items that they repair include dents and holes on boat covers, marine leathers, plastics, vinyls, and RV interiors. For furnitures, they have repaired leather that is worn and with body oil stains, faded and dried out, faded and worn, and ripped and torn. For commercial, they have repaired furnitures for restaurants, offices, and waiting rooms.
The leather care kits that they use are made with 3M Scotchgard Protector. One of the big projects they have handled was a five year contract with the restoration of the National Archives building which is in Washington D.C.

You will need one employee to run one location. The do not allow absentee ownership.

There will be six days training at the headquarters. You will be receiving newsletters and a toll free phone number. You will be given access to the internet and to purchasing cooperatives. You will also receive a software that is used in invoicing and tracking customers. Expect to be attending meetings and receiving occasional field evaluations to check on your progress. For marketing support, there will be ad slicks and your personalized website.
