Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant is a franchise for a Japanese barbecue restaurant.

It was founded in 1996 and started franchising in 1997. Gyu-Kaku is “bull’s horn” in Japanese. Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant specializes in barbecued beef which is more commonly known as a yakiniku in Japan. They have a unique way on serving food to their customers. They are the ones grilling their own food. Their tables have their own charcoal brazier built in it and they include a pair of tongs to be used for cooking. The customers get to pick the types of meat that they want and they are served raw by the waiters. The customers also get to choose the dips they want. They now have three locations in the United States, one in Canada, and 650 in other countries like Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, and in Japan. They also have 12 locations that are company owned.

For appetizers, they have yuzu snapper carpaccio, crispy seaweed, ahi tuna poke, and salmon scallop tartart. For salads and soups, they have avocado salad, kalbi soup, seafood tofu chigae, and gyu-kaku salad. Their US Kobe Beef are available as fillet mignon, kobe sampler, bistro harami, beef special, and kalbi short rib. Their steak cuts are available as chateaubriand, prime rib eye steak, filet mignon, and NY strip steak. BBQ Beef are harami skirt steak, chuck kalbi, bistro harami hanger steak, kalbi short rib, and rosu sliced rib eye. Specialty beef include negi–tan, premium gyu-tan, liver, gyu-tan, and horumon.

They have other meats like duck, lamb chops, pork toro, kurobuta sausages, and chicken breast. For seafoods, they have shrimp, Chilean seabass, scallop, lobster, salmon in foil, and aburi style ahi tuna. They also have vegetables like mixed mushrooms and Japanese sweet potato. Other options are rice, noodles, and bibimbap in goma negi ramen or udon, sukiyaki bibimbap, seafood garlic noodles, and original chicken bibimbap. They have specialty marinades that you can choose from like basil pesto, miso, garlic, tare, teriyaki, and shio. For dipping sauce, they have tsuke, sweet and spicy, lemon, and ponzu.
