City Wok Franchise

City Wok is a franchise for a restaurant catering upscale Asian cuisine. City Wok first opened in North Hollywood California in 1990. It now has locations in the cities of San Diego, Thousand Oaks, Orange, Palm Desert, Studio City, and Coachella.

They also have plans to open at locations in San Francisco Bay Area, Florida and in North Carolina. It was recently featured in the Restaurant Hospitality magazine being a fast casual dining restaurant. City Wok’s foods are all made to order even those for take-out. They use the freshest ingredients available. You can even watch them cook on their exhibition kitchen that’s visible to the customers. Since everything is fresh, they never use MSG. You won’t see any steam tables and they are not a fast food chain. You can specify how you want everything and they will try their best to adjust things to your liking. They give the same treatment to take out orders and they have a special packaging that keeps it hot and fresh.

What’s on the menu at City Wok?

For appetizer, you can have spicy Szechuan Chicken Dumplings, Crispy Chicken Won Tons, Barbeque Spare Ribs, or City Wok Gyoza Bao. Their House Specials includes Spicy Salt & Pepper Calamari, Gai Bowl with Veggies, Chicken Lettuce Cups, Garlic Chili Scallops, and Shanghai Potato Scramble. They also have Spicy Chili Bean Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Peppercorn Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Broccoli Beef, Spicy Chili Bean Shrimp, Shrimp with Snow Peas, Shrimp in Black Bean Sauce, Barbeque Pork with Chinese Vegetables, and Sweet and Sour Pork. What is an Asian restaurant without the soups and noodles? For soups, they have Spicy Saigon Noodle, or Chicken & Corn. For noodles, they have Singapore Rice Noodles, House Lo Mein, or Chow Mein. Asian cuisine is incomplete without the rice. They have City Wok Curry Rice with Shrimp and Pineapple, and Yang Chow Fried Rice besides the usual white or brown rice. For beverages, they have Tsing-Tao Beer, China Mist Iced Tea, or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on Tap. All this is just naming a few. You can even create your own dish as you please.
