Baby Boot Camp Franchise Information

Baby Boot Camp franchise is for a postnatal fitness class. It was founded in 2001 by Kristen Horler. After she had her baby in August 2001, she went on a search for a fitness center offering postnatal classes.

She couldn’t find any other option besides having to hire a personal trainer, or a babysitter and some would even require her to purchase a gym membership. She is a triathlete and a fitness trainer and now a mother. Kristen is part of the ePregnancy magazine and an educator for the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Since 1999, she has been a certified personal trainer and since 2000 she has been a Balance Bode Pilates trainer. She has a B.A. degree in physical anthropology from University of California at Santa Barbara. She decided to create a program in which a new mom can take care of her health and fitness while bonding with her baby. She calls it the Stroller-Fitness Program.

This program is designed for a new mom to regain her strength or even improve it for her to be able to manage the demands of being a mom. She started franchising in 2005 and they now have location all over the United States, Australia, and in Canada. They are also opening the franchise opportunity internationally. Some of their partners are Kinesys for the baby’s sunscreen, Impact Fitness for fitness apparels, Parenting magazine, Partners for Cancer Cures, Stroller Fit for Baby Boot Camp recommended strollers, and Dr. Bill Sears who is one of the most renowned pediatricians in America.

What benefits would a parent get from the Baby Boot Camp program?

First and foremost, your first class is free. There’s no need for a costly personal trainer or a babysitter because your baby will also be part of your workout. The class includes strength training exercises, cardio drills, stretching for overall fitness, and the ab assault. In a 12 week period, it reduces the feeling of depression and you will improve your physical fitness. If you like to travel, you can still join their classes in different locations in the US, Canada, and even in Australia. If your baby is fussy, there’s no need to be embarrassed because you are all moms after all and they will let you stop to feed and they will just go back for you. It will also improve your posture because with a tighter belly, you won’t be slouching. What’s even better is the connection you make with other moms and setting an example of a healthy lifestyle for your baby.
