B-Dry System is a franchise for a business providing waterproofing services. The system itself was developed by Joseph Bevilacqua, Sr. in 1930. It was in 1958 that he began his waterproofing career when he took over the business.
In 1960, he discovered the liquid sealer that was an effective material to seal walls while using wire mesh, visquene, and concrete. He had this drain system patented in 1966. In 1993, they developed a special kind of concrete that was long lasting and superior to anything that was on the market. In 1998, he patented the FREE FLO which is a waterproofing technology that was a result of 40 years of research. In 2001, he introduced AquaJets for the FREE FLO pipes that allow it to “self-flush”. They were able to waterproof the 180,000th basement in 2003 and all of them have a full life-of-structure insurance that can be transferred from owner to owner. In 2008, they partnered with Blue Canyon who are experts in Healthy Home System.

Costs and requirements on running a B-Dry System franchise
Expect to be investing about $95,000 to $105,000. The B-Dry System franchise fee is $35,000 to $60,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 8%. This is for a renewable five year term agreement. They would also prefer if you have a general business experience and a background in sales. This franchise can be run from home. You will need about three employees to run one location. They allow multi unit ownership. They do not allow absentee ownership.
What is included in the franchise package?
There will be one week training at the B-Dry System’s headquarters, one week at an existing market and training at your location as needed. You will be receiving newsletters, a toll free phone line, and access to the internet. You will be attending meetings and you may also expect occasional field visits to check on your progress. For marketing, there will be ad slicks and national media.
