Adventure Kids Playcare is a franchise for child daycare service. It was founded in 2004 and started franchising in 2006. Their staffs are all CPR and First Aid Certified. They have also done a criminal background check.
For security, they have designed only one entrance and exit to the facility and this door is always locked and can only be opened by a staff. When the children are checked in to their facility, they would not be allowed to leave until they are picked up by their parents. They are required to present a photo ID to claim their child. In instances that the parent would not be able to pick-up their child, they have to call the center and give the password that they provided when they left their child then give the name of the person who will pick-up the child. They are also required to present a photo ID. For additional security, there’s a video security system that monitors the premises of the facility.
What activities are presented to your kids when you leave them at Adventure Kids Playcare?
They have infant nursery, storytime, movie theatre, playhouse area, large playscape, theme nights, air hockey table, staff-led group activities, karaoke stage, arts and crafts, playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, computer games, and a separate toddler area. They have also have measures to make sure that the environment is always clean. The kids are required to wear socks all the time and their shoes are left in cubby holes. The facility and the toys are cleaned daily and they have installed a Honeywell air filtration system which cleans the air. It uses a UV light that kills germs in that circulates in the air. The centers are open form Mondays till Fridays depending on the location. Rate starts from $5 to $10 per hour. They also provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner for an extra cost but the kids are also allowed to bring their own food from home as long as it doesn’t include peanuts. They also have a membership plan that will help you save and get you discounts. For birthday parties, they have different themes to choose from like Here Comes the Train Party, Diva Party, Superhero Party, Pirate and Princess Party, Craft Party, and Survivor Party. Their party packages includes ice cream, birthday cake, craft, goodie bags, games, piñata, and all paper goods. They also serve pizzas for an extra charge.
Costs and Requirements Associated with Running an Adventure Kids Playcare Franchise?
You need to have a net worth of $350,000 and a total liquid asset of at least $100,000. Expect to be investing about $228,500 to $453,750. The Adventure Kids Playcare Franchise fee is $25,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 5%. This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement. You will need about 15-20 employees to run one location. They do not allow absentee ownership.
What’s included in the franchise package?
There will be 10 days training at the Adventure Kids Playcare headquarters and 5 days at your location. You will also be receiving newsletters, toll-free phone line, access to internet and purchasing cooperatives from Adventure Kids Playcare. You will also receive assistance at the grand opening and expect occasional field evaluations. For marketing, there will be ad slicks and regional advertising.
