TSS Photography Franchise Information

TSS Photography is a franchise for a business providing photography to events. It was founded in 1983 and started franchising in 1984. It was founded by Carl Hansson and Dan Burgner.

They started out as The Sports Section, Inc. It was a photography company that covers youth and sports on-site. They cover about $1,500,000 of children every year. They expanded in 2000 and created a division of a company named TSS Photography that covers “Picture Day” in schools.

It was in 2005 that they changed their name to TSS Photography.  With this, they expanded even more covering not just sports events and school photography but also church groups, community organizations, and corporations. They created affiliations with athletic leagues and national organizations such as National Recreation, YMCA, Police Athletic League, Park Associations, Miracle League, USA Football, and Babe Ruth Leagues, Inc. They also do their share for the community by being involved in organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They now have 210 locations in the United States, seven in other countries like New Zealand and Australia, and one location that is company owned.

What services and products do they offer at TSS Photography?

For sports, they have done Picture Days for baseball, soccer, softball, football, lacrosse, swimming, basketball, hockey, dance, martial arts, rugby, gymnastics, wrestling, cheering, and track and field. The same is applied to School Picture Days. On these days, you will be provided with your own TSS ID which ensures that the safety, privacy, and anonymity of your child is kept safe. Only you or someone you invite would be able to see it in their network. You can use the unique number on your TSS ID to access it online.
