Sharkey’s Cuts For Kids Franchise Information

Sharkey’s Cuts For Kids is a franchise for a business providing kid’s haircuts and parties.

It was founded in 2001 and started franchising in 2004. It was founded by Linda and Scott Sharkey. The idea started when the couple brought their children to the salon to get their haircuts. They thought that there should be more in the place to keep the children entertained.

Their first location was such a success that in 2004 they opened two further locations. This was when they started getting requests for franchise.

It was in 2007 that they opened their first location in Canada. In the next two years, they opened 20 more locations within the United States and in Canada. They cater to children aged zero to 12 years old. Their chairs are designed as cars, planes, or motorcycle. They get their haircuts while watching TV or while playing video games. Every haircut has a free mini-cure for girls and a temporary tattoo for boys.
