The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille Franchise

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille is a franchise for a sports bar and restaurant.

It was founded in 1976 and started franchising in 2003. The first location was opened in Ocean City, Maryland. The second location was opened in 1986 in Baltimore. When they started franchising in 2002, the first two franchise locations were opened in 2004 in Towson and Salisbury. It was in 2007 when they opened locations outside of Maryland. They opened a location in DC at the Verizon Center. In 2010, they were able to open in two other states: Delaware and Virginia.

Their goal was to create these neighbourhood places that sports fans will enjoy as well as families. Each of the booths has their own TV’s which means that there is no bad seat anywhere and they all get the best view. They also have other flat screen TV’s all over the place. The menu was created with hearty servings to share. They now have 16 locations in the United States and 11 locations that are company owned.
