Green Mill Restaurants is a franchise for an upscale pizza restaurant. It was founded in the 1930’s and started franchising in 1991.

In the 1930’s, Green Mill was only a soda fountain in St. Paul, Minnesota. They dreamed and they expanded as they started offering food and became a restaurant and bar. They wanted to serve food that was unique and can only be found at the Green Mill. They also serve the classics but almost all the food in their menu are made from scratch daily. They also get the freshest ingredients from local suppliers.

Aside from the restaurant side, they have The Green Mill Bar. It is a full bar with selections of wines, beers, martinis, margaritas, and other spirits. Like other bars, they also have the happy hours and other promotions and events. Another service they offer is catering for events such as weddings, event venues, and beverage service. They now have 27 locations in the United States.

Expect to be investing about $1,300,000 to $1, 700,000. The cost of Green Mill franchise fee is $45,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 4%. This is for a renewable 20 year term agreement.

What is included in the franchise package?

There will be eight weeks training at the headquarters and two weeks at your location. You will be given access to the internet and to purchasing cooperatives. You will receive assistance at the grand opening. Expect to be attending meetings and receiving occasional field evaluations. For marketing support, there will be ad slicks and regional advertising.
