Bellacino’s Pizza’s and Grinders Information

The first Bellacino’s was opened in June of 1998 and began franchising the same year. They currently have 80 locations in 15 states and none of them are corporate owned. Despite being established in 1998, their recipes came from Samual Mancino Sr. in the 1950’s in Michigan.
Grinders started in the East Coast, they were freshly baked Italian rolls filled with very generous ingredients. They were the favourites by men who worked in warships. They were called grinders and up till now, they referred to the sandwiches as grinders. Bellacino’s has lived up to the generous servings of these grinders. In 2005, Bellacino’s had a special participation at Nascar in Nashville, Tennessee. They were at the pit serving Cecil Chunn and his team.
