Their curriculum is designed to establish computer literacy and help improve kid’s technology skills. Their students are preschoolers and elementary students. The five programs are Little Bitz, Navigators, Exporers, Kinder Kidz, and Big Kidz. Little Bitz is a program for toddlers. It is for beginners and focuses on learning how to control a mouse and computer terminologies. In this program, they teach toddlers the basic computer skills. Navigator is a program that focuses on basic computer navigation, introducing the uses and functions of the technology, and operating skills.

Part of this program is computer care and safety and proper keyboarding techniques. They use software that helps reinforce academic concepts. Explorers help develop a more advanced exposure to navigation. It includes electronic communication, graphics, and basic MS applications. This program also teaches about the menu, toolbars, and file structures. This prepares them in entering Kindergarten. Kinder Kidz is a program that focuses on advanced operating skills, introduction to the World Wide Web, and desktop architecture.

They teach kids how to navigate the web and emphasizes on acceptable use policies and safety on the web. Big Kidz is for elementary students and is more challenging than the other programs. This program focuses on using the technology to complete projects, acquiring knowledge, and conducting researches. They encourage elementary students to solve problems, be creative, and expose them to critical thinking.

Cost and requirements on running a PC Kidz franchise

You need to have a net worth of $150,000 and a total liquid asset of at least $40,000. Expect to be investing about $19,000 to $92,000. The cost of the PC Kidz franchise fee is $15,000 to $45,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 7%. This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement. They also require a general business experience and marketing skills. You will need about one to 30 employees to run one location. This franchise can be run from home. They allow multi-unit ownership. They do not allow absentee ownership.

What is included in the franchise package?

There will be four days training at the headquarters and three days at your location. You will be receiving newsletters and a toll free phone number.
