PawSpa Resort is a franchise for a dog spa. It was founded by Sharron Feese in 2004. She has been part of PawSpa Global LLC since it started in 2000 in which she is now the Chief executive Officer.
She was managing 3 retail stores at the same time for about 17 years. Since 2005, she has been focused with PawSpa Resort and in making it successful and profitable. The concept was initially an idea from her daughter Kerri who is now the Chief Operations Manager of PawSpa Resort. She has had an experience in pet care since she was 14 and PawSpa Resort in Cummings Georgia was her dream that became a reality through 2 years of blueprinting and a year to completion.
What services do they offer at the PawSpa Resort?
Primarily, they offer boarding and day care. They have a spacious yard, luxury suites and standard suites equipped with luxuries beds. They also have canine penthouse suites and even feline penthouse suites. They also do grooming. They offer this Blueberry facial especially designed for pets that suffer from stinky face or tear stains. They use a Ph balanced and all natural face and body wash. This is available both for your dogs and cats.
They also offer mini grooming which includes a bath, toe nail trim, ear hair plucking, anal gland expression, and cleaning of feet and sanitary area. You can do a full grooming including everything that mini grooming has plus a full haircut designed for your pet. They also have training classes headed by Alex Tutterow who’s also the owner of Sit Means Sit. Alex is also an actively serving law enforcement officer. He trains the dog to focus on you and avoid distractions and that would be the key to obedience and follow through on other things. They offer one-on-one and group trainings. Their facility also has a gift shop that contains everything you would need for your pet. They have items from Cain & Able, FURminator, Sporting Dog for first aid kits for dogs, Planet Dog, Kool Dog Kafe, Loopies, Chuck It!, West Paw Design, Catnap, Canidae, Felidae, Dogswell, and Cloud Star Hyperflite Flying Discs.
They are affiliated with several associations that work hand in hand in helping the community like American Boarding Kennels Association, Labrador Friends of the South, Animal Aid Foundation of Dawsonville, Sit Means Sit, Adopt a Greyhound Atlanta, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), American Kennel Club, and Cat Fanciers’ Association.

What’s included in the franchise package?
There will be 1 week training at the headquarters for 2 people and there will also be on-going training as needed. Training covers operating the business including sourcing inventory, sales, personnel, and advertising. You will have exclusivity in a territory within a 3 mile radius. They have an advertising program that you will be included in, and technical support.
