NexGym is a franchise for a center that provides interactive fitness programs for children.

They have the Exergaming gym which offers a high-tech action for children. In this gym, the children can use a fitness game that focuses on hand-to-hand combat through the Makoto Interactive Sports Arena. They can use the Cyber Trazer where they can train their speed, acceleration, and power through on-screen activities.
The Treadwall Climbing Wall looks hard at first glance but this easy activity can help children develop their gross motor skills. Nexfit bike can be attached to a video game and makes cardiovascular workout fun for children. The Sportswall is an interactive technology that exercises their minds and body. They also have the Dance Dance Revolution and the Eye Toy is a video game that focuses on balance, posture, stamina, and breathing. Their interactive classes include Pre-K Yoga, Karate, Boot Camp, Sports Agility, Yoga for seven to 14 years old, Strength and Conditioning, Hip Hop, and other classes depending on location like wrestling or fencing.
Their Parent’s Night Out is equivalent to kid’s Fun Night. They are conducted with themes such as Luau, Mystery, All Star Sportstar, and Shamrock Bash. They also hold summer camps with varying themes depending on location. It is usually a week long fun for the kids and the coaches with interactive games. For Xtreme Birthdays, it includes games and competitions, party room, food and drink, and physically interactive video games. They customize fitness programs depending on what your child needs. They also have the Confidence Builders that are designed for children with special needs and disabilities such as children with ADD, Autism and Aspergers Spectrum, Behavioral Issues, Sensory Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, and Downs Syndrome.
Cost and requirements on running a NexGym franchise
You need to have a net worth of $200,000 and a total liquid asset of at least $50,000. Expect to be investing about $213,000 to $397,000. The cost of the NexGym franchise fee is $30,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 6%. This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement. You will need about 10 employees to run one location. They do not allow absentee ownership.
What is included in the franchise package?
There will be two weeks training at the headquarters and one week at your location. You will be given access to the internet, a toll free phone number, purchasing cooperatives and assistance at the grand opening. Expect to be attending meetings and receiving occasional field evaluations. For marketing support, there will be ad slicks, co-op advertising, and regional advertising.
