What is the JEI Self-Learning Method?

The method aims to improve the student’s academic achievement, maximize the student’s potential, and to build their confidence in themselves. This is done through finding a comfortable starting point for each student, letting them learn at their own pace, and learn within their own concentration span. They base this method in three educational theories. First is the Talent Education Theory which states that each child is born with talent and unlimited potential and not based on inherent. Second is the Programmed Instruction Theory which states that the success in learning of a child is dependent on specified targets, sufficient practices, and right amount of reinforcement. Third is the Mastery Learning Theory which states that learning is based on the calculated time actually spent in learning and the time needed learning. The method also contains three elements namely the self-learning program, directors or instructors, and the parents.
