Interstate All Battery Center is a franchise for a business providing batteries. It was founded in 1952 and started franchising in 2000.

 It was founded by John Searcy with his red Studebaker Truck. He used to sell and deliver batteries to wholesalers in the areas of Dallas-Fort Worth loading the batteries at the back of his truck. He did this for two years before he founded the company in 1952 and firstly names it Interstate Battery System. They celebrated having a center in each of the 50 States and in Canada in the 1980’s. John Searcy retired in 1978 and left the company to Norm Miller. They became known with the Interstate Batteries Great American Race and their presence in NASCAR and The Winston Cup through sponsoring Coach Joe Gibbs. They now have 166 locations in the United States, 11 in Canada, three in other countries, and 13 locations that are company owned.

For Home and Garage, they have batteries for flashlights, home supplies, toys, cordless tools, and other household batteries. Cost and requirements on running an Interstate All Battery Center franchise

You need to have a net worth of $500,000 and a total liquid asset of at least $200,000. The cost of Interstate All Battery Center franchise fee is $30,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 5%. This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement.

What is included in the franchise package?

There will be training that will be conducted in the Interstate All Battery University which was founded in the principles of branding, consistency, research, planning, and analysis. The classes are limited to 20 to 25 students to make sure that there will be greater retention in each student. The graduates of these classes will be certified as an All Battery technician.
