Edible Arrangements Franchise
Edible Arrangements is a franchise for a store that makes arrangements using fruits shape like flowers. It was founded by Tariq in 1999. He initially borrowed money from his father to purchase a flower shop in East Haven, Connecticut.
He managed four stores then but after seven years, he thought of the idea on making bouquets that can be eaten. Tariq and his brother Kamran opened the first Edible Arrangement store in 1999. They started sculpting flowers out of fruits and arranging in a bouquet like manner. The business became successful and they started franchising in 2001. Besides the fruit arrangements, they added chocolate dipped fruits, fruit sundaes, fruit salads, and beverages to their product line-up. They now have 1027 locations in 12 countries.
