What can a customer expect from an Andy OnCall job?
They first provide a free estimate. The estimate is valid for 30 days. Then they send you a craftsman who has more than 10 years experience. They will be giving you a one year written warranty. The warranty starts on the day that you have completed your payment to Andy OnCall. If there will be follow up repairs, it will not be extended to a new date. The company may also decide on issuing a refund a portion of the cost instead of completing the job. If any work is done by the homeowner or another person or contractor, it will void the warranty on the job. They give the customer the option to purchase all the materials and just hire Andy OnCall for the labor. If they choose to have the craftsman purchase the materials, they need to reimburse the full amount.
Cost and requirements on running an Andy OnCall franchise
You will need to have a net worth of $150,000 and a total liquid asset of at least $50,000. Expect to be investing about $35,000 to $48,000. The Andy OnCall franchise fee is $25,000 to $30,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 5%. This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement. They also require a general business experience and sales and people skills. You will need about two employees to run one location. They do not allow absentee ownership. They allow multi-unit ownership.
What is included in the franchise package?
There will be nine days training at the headquarters and five days at your location. You will be given exclusivity in your territory. You will receive assistance in site selection and lease negotiations. You will be provided operations, set-up, and customer service manuals. You will be given assistance in finding inexpensive equipment and supplies. They have consultants to help you in recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating employees. You will also receive field support and research development. For marketing, you will receive assistance in the grand opening and campaigning to promote your new franchise.
