Soccer Shots Franchise Information

Soccer Shots is a franchise for a business providing fitness programs for children through soccer. It was created in 1999 and started franchising in 2005. It was founded by Jeremy Sorzano and Jason Webb who were teammates in soccer both in college and professionally.

They started the business because they wanted to earn some money during the off-season. They have the passion for soccer and to help kids live healthy and fit. They opened their first location in Charlotte, North Carolina and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Because of its success, they received requests from former teammates and friends to franchise the business. They agreed to it and soon, they had franchises in Ohio, Delaware, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

It was in 2009 that Justin Bredeman joined them. He was a former teammate in college. With his eight years of experience with franchising in Auntie Ann’s where he handled 800 franchises and five years of running his own Soccer Shots, he will help the two handle the Soccer Shots franchising. Soccer Shots Global Goals was founded in 2009. It is a non-profit arm of the business that helps youth in the United States and worldwide through soccer. They now have 75 locations in the United States, one in Canada, and six locations that is company owned.

What is the program that they offer at Soccer Shots?

The sessions are conducted by instructors that are trained by Soccer Shots. Each session is held once a week and last for about 30 to 40 minutes. Their main objective is to introduce the child to soccer while developing him physically and his character.

Each session includes basic soccer skills, word of the day, exclusive Soccer Shots games, fun fitness activities and exercises, use of imagination, character-building lessons, balance, coordination, and agility development, and seasonal and weekly prizes.

All the equipment is provided by Soccer Shots but you have to make sure that your child is wearing tennis shoes and clothing that is appropriate for the activity. They do not provide cleats and shin guards because they say that it is not necessary. The programs are designed for three to eight years old and for children over 10 years old.
