It was founded in 1997 and started franchising in 2004. They had 180 traders that made them one of the largest trading floors in the United States. Back then, the managers coached traders to help them become more consistent and profitable. It was in 2001 when they decided to put their focus on just providing education. They have on-location, online courses, and self-study in CD’s and DVD’s .They train about stocks, options, forex, real estate, and wealth management. Stock Trading course include Professional Trader which is a foundation course, XLT – Stock Trading, and XLT – Stock Mastery. For self study, they have Technical Analysis for the Professional Trader, Professional Stock Trader Library, and 10 Laws of Risk Management are some. Fpr Forex Trading courses, they have Forex Trader and XLT – Forex Trading. You need to have a net worth of $350,000 and a total liquid asset of at least $100,000. Expect to be investing about $209,000 to $388,000. He cost of the Online Trading Academy franchise fee is $80,000 to $200,000 with an on-going royalty fee of 10%. This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement. You will need about six employees to run one location. They allow multi-unit ownership. They do not allow absentee ownership.
What is included in the franchise package?
There will be two weeks training at the headquarters, one week at your location, and three days seminar. You will be receiving newsletters and a toll free phone number. You will be given access to the internet and to purchasing cooperatives. You will also be given assistance at the grand opening. Expect to be attending meetings and receiving occasional field evaluations. For marketing support, there will be ad slicks and co-op advertising.
