Legacy Academy for Children Franchise

Legacy Academy for Children is a franchise for a business providing child care and education center.

It was founded in 1997 and started franchising in 1998. Their mission is to provide service to children, their families, staff, and the community in such a way that it will impact their lives in a positive way. They believe that when they do this, early childhood education care and education will be set with high standard programs. Their commitment is to provide professional development for their staff that is on-going. They say that this is the key ingredient for Legacy Academy to have quality programs.

Their basis for high standard care is the positive nurturing that their staffs provide their children. They have made a commitment to give the children and their families the enriched learning environment that helps them develop cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development. They provide each child the individual attention that they need for them to be able to reach their fullest potential. They now have 22 locations all over the United States and one location that is company owned.

What activities do they offer at Legacy Academy for Children?

Some of the activities they offer include Spanish Classes, Chinese Classes, Dance Classes, and Playball. Each location may offer a different kind of activity. An example of one location’s calendar include four weeks of summer camp and activities planned as “I Reach Out to the Community” for week one, “I Illustrate” for week two, “I Get Jazzed All Over” for week three, and “I Have a Talent” for week four.

What curriculum do they conduct in a Legacy Academy for Children franchise?

Their curriculum is labelled as “Framework For Their Future”. This curriculum is developed to be stimulating, challenging, and appropriate for infants up to they are school-aged. They have different themes that are interesting and matched with learning objectives which they refer to as “Key Experiences”. These themes include music, art, language, emergent math and literacy, gross motor, drama, and movement.
