Their ain is not only to develop a student physically but also mentally. This helps create a balanced individual. The founder based this on Asian moral culture and made it part of this art as the Tenets of taekwondo. The Tenets are names as courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. General Choi believed that if a person has these qualities, they become better members of the society.
