The Five Guys Burgers & Fries franchise is for a fast food chain serving mainly burgers and fries.
It was founded in 1986 and opened its first location in Arlington, Virginia. In 1986 to 2001, they spent time on opening five more locations in the DC area. It was also the time when they started perfecting the business on burgers. In 2002, they expanded and started offering franchises in Maryland and Virginia. In 2003, they completed all territories in 18 months and started offering the franchise all over the country. In 2003 up to the present, their number of locations reached 750 and these are scattered in more than 40 states and even in Canada. They say that you can create more than 250,000 types of burgers. They don’t have any freezers on any Five Guys location and just coolers because they only use fresh ground beef and nothing is frozen. Everything is fried in peanut oil which makes everything in their menu Trans -fat free.
