FasTracKids International Franchise

FasTracKids International is a franchise for a center providing academic assistance for children. It was founded in 1997 when an educator met an entrepreneur.

They had a vision on helping children become better problem solvers, communicators, and leaders. They designed a workbook based curriculum. In 1998, they purchased the intellectual rights to the curriculum and they started developing the early education program. In their curriculum, they expose the children to 12 subject areas while using different senses like visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile. With this teaching method, the child uses all senses and therefore delivering a more consistent and high quality education.

They expanded internationally and started teaching in English and Spanish in different countries like Australia, Mexico, Malaysia, Venezuela, and Singapore. An independent test was conducted by the National Institute on Out-of-School Time (NIOST) on children who were enrolled in FasTracKids. In their research, they found that all their students have an improved vocabulary and social skills which are the primary link for a child to perform well in school. They also concluded that their students improved by about 100% to 150% compared to other children not enrolled to their program. Some students have improved a level or two higher.

What programs do they have?

For children aged three to eight years old, they have FasTracKids. This program focuses on communication, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration skills, and confidence. For two to two and a half years old, they have the fasTracK Tots. In this program, they develop the child’s curiosity, concentration and self esteem. For children aged six months to two years old, they have FasTrack Singing.  This program focuses on children’s ability to communicate even before they are able to speak.

They also have two groups for programs in FasTrack Music. One group is for two to four years old and the other is for four to six years old. For the second group, they are already prepared for formal music lessons. They also have FasTrack Camps for holiday breaks or even for an after school program. Another is the FasTrack Explorers designed for children aged two to four years old. They also have the FasTrack Discoverers which is like a FasTrack Kids program focused on subject based curriculum with added activities on improving the children’s language and communication skills.
