E.nopi Franchise

E.nopi is a franchise for a center providing a supplementary educational program. It was founded in 1976 by Dr. Young Joong Kang. It was initially designed for Daekyo in South Korea. In South Korea, it is more known as “Noonnoopi” which means “eye level”.

The program includes basic and critical thinking math, and the four concepts of English which is writing, reading, listening, and speaking. Through years of success, they now have about 2.5 million members. They have locations in 16 countries such as the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, Korea, China, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, Guatemala, Vietnam, and Spain.  This center also works with the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) in the United States. “E” in E.nopi stands for “Eye Level” which is their philosophy. They bring the instructional materials to an eye-level with the child.

How does the E.nopi system work?

First step is assessing the child’s skills by determining his or her strengths and weaknesses. They then tailor design a program for each child. The child’s strengths are used to develop the weaknesses. They are aligned with the educational standards of the United States for math and reading. This helps the child understand classroom work even if the E.nopi program does not exactly correlate with how they teach it in the classroom.

How often does the child have to attend sessions at the center?

They child is required needs to attend a class in the center for at least once a week. The session lasts for about one to two hours. It can be twice or even three times a week depending on the child’s need. They give home works in class but they recommend that these home works are done by the child for about 10 to 15 minutes a day rather than having them finish it all at one time. This helps the child retain more of what he or she has learned. The program recommends a long and thorough participation with small amounts on each session for it to be effective.
