Extreme Pita Franchise

Extreme Pita is a franchise serving pita wrap sandwiches. It was founded in 1997 and started franchising in 1998. Alex and Mark Rechichi wanted to create a product that provides nutrition but still have the great taste that the customers are looking for.

They decided that a bread that would be highly nutritious but would be big enough and versatile enough to hold all the nutritious ingredients inside and still taste good. It was then they realized that they can use the Pita bread. That was the birth of the concept of Extreme Pita. They wanted to change the thought of people that all healthy food tastes bland.
